The variety of different autumnal colours drew me to this image (the picture is based with permission on a photograph by the landscape photgrapher Colin Baxter). The reflection was quite difficult to capture in watercolour - it took me a lot of experimenting! The stormy sky adds to the dramatic atmosphere.Painted in watercolour on Arches paper (which has a textured surface). Painted to the edge of the paper. Sold without mat/mount or frame.
